Sweet potato “fries”

These are baked, not fried so maybe we should call them sweet potato “bakes”

I love french fries and I wouldn’t feel so guilty eating them if they weren’t deep fried in inflammatory oil.

Whenever I’m craving fries I satiate the urge with my healthy version. I make this with organic white potatoes or  sweet potatoes. It’s so easy and so good.

All you do is slice up the potato, toss it in oil and seasonings and pop it in the oven.

Guilt free yumminess. My favorite kind.

FriesCollage

Ingredients

One large sweet potato

olive oil

Spices: tumeric, garlic powder, salt, parprika

How to

Cut the sweet potato into rounds (see photo above)

Slice each round lengthwise into sticks

Toss potato sticks in olive oil and spices

Bake for 35 minutes at 360 degrees, longer if you want them crispier.

That’s it. Short and sweet….like these fries.
